Premier League Darts Winter 2010

The League

1) The league will be called Littlehampton Darts Organisation Premier League Darts
2) The league bank account will be held with HSBC 70 High Street Littlehampton West Sussex BN17 5DY (all accounts/statements can be made available
upon request)
3) The league will consist of two groups playing alternate weeks.
4) All players will pay a £5 league registration fee.
5) All players will pay a £2.50 weekly subs fee.
6) Competition Entry fees are £5 per player.
7) All players must be registered by 7:45pm sharp – if a player is late for any reason they will be deducted 2 points – no arguments or excuses. If a player arrives after 8:00pm they forfeit their first game.
8) All first games to commence 8:00pm sharp and all subsequent games to commence as per play schedule
9) All players are responsible for chalking and will do so according to the fixtures. If a player fails to chalk for any reason/fails to provide a substitute chalker, you will be deducted 2 points or possibly eliminated from the Premier League.

The Format
10) The format will be best of 6 legs 501 (win, lose or draw 3-3) – straight in/double out. Should a player reach a score of 4-0, 4-1 or 4-2 that game is then won. Not all 6 legs have to be played to determine the result.
11) 2 Points will be awarded for a win and 1 point will be awarded for a draw.
12) Leg difference will determine table standings, should more than 1 player be in the same position.
13) Nearest the bull will determine who throws first in the 1st, 3rd & 5th leg should it go that far. The player on the left hand side of the fixture will throw first. All 25’s and 50’s will have the dart removed from the board and the player to the right of the fixture will then throw first for the bull upon the second attempt etc etc
14) The top 8 players from each group will qualify through to “Play-Off Night”. This will be a drawn knockout and will be played down to the final. The format for Play-Off Night will be best of 9 501. The format for the final on “Finals Night” will be best of 11 legs 501.
15) There will be a Random Drawn Pairs and Singles knockout night during the Premier League. These knockouts will be played down to the finals which will be played on “Finals Night”. Format TBC.
16) There will be NO catch-up week. If you are unable to make your fixture due to holiday/sickness or any other reason, you will forfeit your points for that evening.

PLAY OFF NIGHT - LAST 16 FIXTURES

The higher you finish in a group will result in a lower placed opponent from the opposing group in the Play-Offs.
